Recall my summertime post asking for someone to vet the offerings of the halal cart on Astor Place?Well, I finally got a hollerback from a snacker who recommended the lamb gyro as "unadulterated meaty deliciousness." I picked up lunch there yesterday, and can now confirm said deliciousness.

Now has anyone been to the smoothie cart around the corner on 4^th Avenue? I need a little something to wash down that gyro.
