Last month I spoke with Jean Luc Naret, Director of the Michelin Guides. I asked if he minded if I recorded it and blogged it. Et voila! The first snacksound podcast.

How does the Michelin rating system actually work? How much influence does M. Naret have? What’s his take on the chorus of criticism on the US guides? Listen in and find out.

Note that the whole interview is about 25 minutes. For those who are technologically challenged I have plans to transcribe the interview and post the text. But that will take some time as I’m hindered by the prospect of listening to my own voice. Hopefully you’ll find it more amusing than I do.
