This report is for all you snackers in Gotham. Are you tired, perhaps, and hungry from your long walk to work, made necessary by the transit strike? Well, a four-star repast is perhaps only hours away. It’s the perfect moment to try and snag one of those hard-to-get reservations. Restaurants across the city expect plenty of cancellations tonight, because honestly, who wants to walk home after 8 or 10 courses with matching wines? And forget about those needing a bridge or tunnel to get to dinner. This scenario is to be expected during a blizzard, and it works for a strike as well.
